This is a pre-tied bow tie that has a hook-and-eye fastener. Adjust it so that your top button in covered, then forget it. It stays in place all night.
Our bow ties don't go out on rent much any more. The "used" ones look just as good as the new if you like saving an extra couple of bucks.....
