I love to see a bigger guy in a double breasted jacket. There’s something authoritative about this garment. It’s always worn closed (David Letterman is the only person I’ve ever seen wear a double breasted jacket unbuttoned) so most guys barely give it a once over. But I gotta tell ya—all eyes go to this look. The Double Breasted Shawl has a sophisticated, James Bond, smoking jacket “feel” to it.

If you don’t like the style, stay away from it. This is one jacket that can “wear you”. If you aren’t 100% comfortable with it, it shows.
